Download or view your offline licence

Updated · 1 minute to read Download as PDF

If your plan includes running Nib or Loupe offline, your licence lives under Licensing. You can look at it or download it again whenever you need to, for example when you set up another server.

  1. Open Licensing

    Go to Licensing

Open the menu at the top left, beside the product name, and choose Licensing.

  2. Check what it covers

The Your licence card shows when it runs, what it includes and, if your plan lets you give licences to your own clients, how many are in use and how long each can last. Anything your plan doesn’t include is marked not in your plan.

  3. Download it

Press Download to save the licence file. Copy it to the computer that runs the programs and point them at it with the UNFORGED_LICENSE setting or --license-file.

  4. Or copy the text

Press Show licence text and then Copy if it’s easier to paste the licence into your own configuration than to move a file.

When your term ends

The programs remind you in the 30 days before your end date. After it, everything keeps working for 14 more days while you renew, and new short-lived licences for your clients are paused until you do. Talk to us before then and we’ll send a renewed licence.

If something goes wrong

I can’t see Licensing in the menu. Your plan doesn’t include offline licensing yet, or your licence hasn’t been issued. Write to us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.
