Cookie policy
Last updated Version 1.1
What we use
In short Only strictly necessary cookies, to sign you in and keep you signed in. No analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking cookies; our website analytics is cookieless.
Unforged uses only strictly necessary cookies: the ones that sign you in, keep you signed in and keep sign-in safe. We use no analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking cookies, and do not build profiles of visitors. Because every cookie is strictly necessary, the law does not ask for your consent to them, so there is no cookie banner.
We do use cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) on our public website: it sets no cookie and cannot identify you or follow you across other sites. See the privacy policy for what it collects.
Most of our pages set no cookies at all until you sign in. Once you do, the cookies below are set by unforged.ai itself.
The cookies
In short Six cookies, all set by unforged.ai itself, all strictly necessary.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
unf_session | Keeps you signed in. Encrypted; holds your sign-in tokens, name and email. Renewed while you use Unforged. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
unf_signed_in | Tells our pages you are signed in, so they show the right links. Holds no personal data; the one cookie our scripts can read. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
unf_sid | Lets signing out end your sign-in session. Encrypted. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
unf_region | Sends your dashboard to your organisation’s home region. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
unf_auth | Protects the sign-in step against forgery. Encrypted; used once. | 10 minutes | Strictly necessary |
unf_onboard | Remembers your progress while you set up your first organisation. Encrypted. | 1 hour | Strictly necessary |
Every cookie is sent only over HTTPS and only to unforged.ai. All but unf_signed_in are hidden from scripts on the page. Signing out removes the sign-in
cookies.
Local storage
In short One item in your browser remembers a view you chose.
unf-workbench-view: Remembers whether you chose the grid or the list view on your workbench. Kept until you clear it; it never leaves your browser.
Your choices
In short You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but signing in needs them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block ours, the public pages still work, but you will not be able to sign in to the dashboard.
