A signer match's answer. We compare each signature on the documents with the specimens sent with the item, and with nothing else: no one is enrolled, and nothing is learned from it. When a specimen can't be read on its own, status is needs_marking, nothing is charged, and the files stay with the job for a day (inbox_ttl): send the item again with each person's marked and from_job set to this job. Once a set is checked, we delete its specimen files and keep only the specimen signatures listed here, which go when your history retention deletes the job.
